Shiva Sharifi is a female photographer currently based in the Florida Keys and is now expanding her portfolio into the underwater realms. Originally from Northern California, she has spent years gaining expertise in various styles of photography since 2004 and has enjoyed traveling around the countryside and coastal regions, creating fine art images of this stunning planet and the beautiful people held within.

In the pursuit of capturing evocative images, so many factors are involved in the journey between artist and subject to create art of a certain quality. Much of her current work involves environmental nudes, as it inspires a deeper connection with the natural world. Also, as a retired art model herself, Shiva is an excellent resource for understanding the dynamics required on both sides of the lens.

Shiva has been interviewed by TWIP and Neomodern podcasts concerning her process and is now coaching other photographers through her workshops or private sessions to help them find a path to their own successful images.

~GENERAL INFO FOR MODELS TO PLEASE READ~

Shiva is always open to finding new talent to collaborate on creative artworks or editorials in the coming months and no experience is required only a personality that offers professionalism.

Shiva is generally involved with ALL concepts & styling work collaborated with models during production. This is represented throughout my portfolio, otherwise I always give credit to the designer involved within any collaborations.

I work very well with models of all different levels of experience. All my models work within their comfort level! In general I am 80% of the time always an on location photographer. My style preference is to be in a real environment, whether outdoors or indoors as studio white or black backdrops become very visually boring to me and lack the adventure and advantages to on location imagery.  Yes, I can shoot with you in a studio with advanced scheduling. On the other hand, I am always looking for those willing to help me with suggesting new locations that we could possibly utilize. So please let me know if you can offer any indoor or outdoor location recommendations. I love discovering odd/new places to have as a shoot location.








~Models asking for Paid Assignments~ Models are paid when I have paying clients, workshops and/or on rare occasions when a model is traveling and has a very professional book/look that fits one of my current personal projects ~  I do not pay models when we are doing a collaborative session that we both use to our benefit ~ I have long standing professional relationships and rarely as an artist can afford to pay ongoing model fees as I am on a limited annual budget. I have had some very poor experiences in the past with some models, so I seriously vet new talent with their ability to collaborate and be accountable before any ongoing paid bookings. Good attitude can go a long ways with me if you are looking to become one of my regular muses, especially for my ongoing workshops, editorials or fine art nude projects. As a retired model you will find me to be very supportive and understanding to collaborate with on any assignment.

If you are looking for portfolio development, updating your content or have a specific concept you want to capture I would love to assist you in accomplishing your goals. Whether you are looking for portraits sessions or are a model, a makeup artist or hair stylist, clothing brand or couture designer, jeweler or accessories or other independent business that needs to start or update your product imagery for marketing or web content, please email me at allshivaphotography@gmail.com to inquire about scheduling and details.

Prices vary per booking depending on involvement in achieving concept, production, hiring a stylist team, location rentals, travel and retouching services, etc. My rates are very reasonable but all collaborations can be discussed if there is a benefit for mutual TFP (trade for photos). Please inquire for a quote on your request. A non-refundable 25% deposit fee is required for reserving my time and will likely need to be scheduled 30-60 days in advance at certain points in the year due to my travel schedule and especially during the summer season.
