About Me

I've been a professional photographer based in New Orleans since 1971.

RODENSTOCK VON FURSTENBERG:

This profile is for my reborn, post-Katrina persona, Rodenstock von Furstenberg, who is reinventing his professional career with what hopefully will be an edgy, in your face collection of  truly stimulating images.

Since my work with models and modeling agencies ended around 1999 when I became a total corporate sell-out, my portfolio was all pre-digital negatives and prints, most of which were destroyed in the flood that came with hurricane Katrina. 

I need to shoot with models who are not just looking for pretty comp shots (although that does have a valid place in the business), but who want to work their way to the far edge and are not afraid to head down the rabbit hole to see where it goes.

All ideas from models are welcome, since I honestly believe the art that models and photographers create must be a collaboration of the minds.  If we click, we’ll know it before we ever take our places on opposite sides of the lens.
