I take pictures to keep myself sane. I love that there are no boundaries in photography, you can shoot pretty much anything. Going from a picture in your mind or from an idea to a picture in print is amazingly satisfying. I love working with models, makeup artists, stylists and set designers as a creative team. It isn't always just about my vision, I want to know what everyone else thinks too; collaboration is where magic sometimes lives.

I also have the humble honor of being a surgical nurse. I relate to my patients as if they are part of my family; allaying their fears as best I can and treating them with dignity and respect.

My husband and I are the adoptive parents (rescuing our best friends) of a cat and a dog; they keep us busy and happy. And one is currently biting my finger!

I am currently working on a series and am expending my creative team.

My photographs have appeared in a wide range of publications including “Where” Magazine; San Francisco; “Sex Between the Beats” by John Kale; and “Health & Beauty; Santa Barbara Directory.” As a registered nurse I was particularly pleased to see my work in “A Laboratory Textbook of Anatomy and Physiology” by Anne B. Donnersberger. Other assignments have included head shots, movie stills, CD covers, live music, family photography, pet photography and fine art commissioned photography.
