About Me

Hello!

Thank you for visiting my profile. My passion for photography dates from the chemical process days when I would immerse inside the darkroom for long late-night hours which often stretched until the break of dawn. I had a guilty pleasure of sacrificing sleep time in exchange for achieving a perfect image, a beautiful print.

The darkroom days are over, however, the possibilities that digital photography pose today, are literally limitless. With the advent of the digital camera, talented photographers have flourished globally and the postproduction software improves in quality by the year.

Within this context, the one thing that remains constant is the very nature of the process; etymologically, photography comes from the Greek root meaning "drawing or representing with light". The eye of the good photographer is trained to see light and to make beautiful images with it. It is a common notion that photography is the act of pressing the camera shutter button, nothing further than the truth! The fun part begins when the photographs are taken to the post-production and only then, slowly, a beautiful image starts to take shape and magically emerges from the original produced by the camera. The results are always magical.

This is my passion, and I am most excited to share it with you.
