i started off as a photographer (MM 626711), but my retouching skills grew as well, mainly because i constantly tried to get the photos i took to match what was in my head. one thing led to another, and finally, after all this time, i've decided it was time i became a retoucher.

the work i do is geared more towards the fashion/glamour side of things, and if asked, i'd probably call my style 'innocence lost'. i'd give it that name mostly because by the time i'm done, the end result has been moderately to significantly altered from the original, and to me, the image has lost its innocence and become something new. so while some like to keep as much of the original in the end result, i look at it from a different perspective. to me, the original is more of a foundation, and i have to build the house.

or, to put it another way, i like to see the art that an image could become, and i try hard to help it along.
