Photography takes up a lot of my time. It is what I do.
I have reached the point where I know what I want to do. I just have to do it, and hence find the right models to work with to accomplish it. Hence why I joined Model Mayhem.

I have seen the term Flake used around Model Mayhem and I have finally encountered one...after spending a considerable amount of money to book the location and get extra equipment.
A FLAKE is a "model" who arranges a shoot, and confirms again and again but then does not show up on the day/time of the shoot, doesn't respond to message and phone calls. Generally falls off the face of the planet.
This is unprofessional and while I might not be a full time photographer I conduct myself in a professional manner.
If you are a FLAKE then I do not want to work with you.
I might go the route of some other photographers and start listing the FLAKES I've encountered.

Here is a list of models who confirmed a shoot and then not show up. Nothing is wrong with cancelling a shoot, but have the courtesy, deceny and professionalism to call the other parties when you cannot make a shoot.
Simply not replying to text message, not answering and/or turning off your phone is not the way things are done.
