Kelly Rae Daugherty — Fine Art Photographer | Painter | Sculptor
I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in Portland, Maine, working across fine-art photography, painting, and sculpture. My photographic work blends portraiture, performance, and emotional realism — often exploring the line between vulnerability and strength.
I’ve photographed hundreds of models over the years, creating projects that range from conceptual editorial work to classical portrait studies. In my sessions, I aim for collaboration rooted in respect, trust, and artistic curiosity. My direction is gentle but precise — focused on gesture, light, and the small psychological cues that bring a portrait to life.
My images have been described as cinematic, intimate, and psychologically rich. I welcome models, dancers, and performers who want to expand their range or participate in projects with depth and atmosphere.
