Hi and thanks for checking out my profile! :)

First let me say that I am absolutely OBSESSED with art and anything that allows me to be creative. Fortunately, photography provides me with a quick and satisfying means of doing this. It has also given me the chance to express myself creatively on the other side of the camera, as I've also been a model for several years on Model Mayhem. (modelmayhem.com/prettykristi). So, not only do I know how to take great shots, but I also know how to get what I want out of my models.

I have been dabbling in photography for about 6 years but have just recently made this a full time career. While I enjoy photographing weddings, seniors, children and other similar subjects, I am desperately seeking to push myself both artistically and creatively. I am especially interested in learning more about fashion and pinup photography and hope to find models for such endeavors here.

Further, I have 6 years experience in the fashion industry, which allows me even more opportunity to incorporate creativeness into my pictures through wardrobe and styling. So, if you need assistance in this area all you have to do is ask! (I'm also a real clothes whore so if you have a certain look you're thinking about but don't have the right duds, chances are I do!) ;)

As far as my style of photography, I try to keep an open-mind in every aspect. Although I like tweaking colors and experimenting with lighting, to me it's not necessarily how skinny your model is or how impeccably perfect the lighting, it's about the end result and what story that picture tells. Sometimes imperfections are the biggest assets, whether in photography, modeling or life. After all, as humans we are all imperfect. It's my job to capture that uniqueness and tell the most beautiful story I can.
