I've been taking photos since I've been able to hold a camera. My first camera (that I can remember) was a Kodak 126 Instamatic. I've graduated to (slightly) more modern equipment but my love of photography & my fascination & wonder with it haven't changed at all.

I love to create images about people. While I make photographs of just about anything (& have been hired for just about everything), my forte is "people photography." I love that a camera gives me license, at least briefly, to enter people's lives. There's a vitality to a photo session involving a human subject that isn't there when you're doing a still life or a scenic. That's why, even though I've worked for large corporate clients, my favorite kind of "work" is still making a photograph of a real person.
