I am a travel and landscape photographer and have found that portraits are more interesting. I also get to shoot them at better times in the day. Heck that 4 am alarm to get set up comes early and it is harder trading sleep for photos as I have gotten older.

I have found I like lighting and creating rather than shooting what is out there in the morning. I have a full studio setup and have learned a lot about lighting and posing but there is more to learn and create. I have shot at weddings and parties and events but they again are shooting what is happening and not creating.

I love to change the background or light and see what we can create. I am also happy to shoot outdoors as well bringing my landscape skills into the portrait arena.

I work in both Winchester NoVA and Powhatan and RVA areas.
