Hey Girl!
My name is Amber and I am a senior in the film school at San Diego State University working on one of my big fall semester short films! I'm directing a short called "Lipstick" and it's a story about a single mother and her six-year-old daughter that have this incredible relationship - she's truly a one-in-a-million mom, yet at night she leaves her daughter to work at a strip club. It really begs the question, 'what deems what is and what isn't a good mother?' She's can make her breakfast, pick her up from school and tuck her in at night. She is able to work for very few hours at night for a lot of pay and really make a living for her and her daughter.
There is a scene in my film that takes place in a dressing room at the strip club where the mother works and I want there to be a bunch of beautiful models acting as strippers getting ready to go onstage.
The girls will be just putting on make up and earrings and heels, fixing their outfits, joking with each other, etc. I envision the models wearing more risque clothing - I mean, they are strippers! Obviously no nudity! It's a student film and will be shown at the showcase and festival on campus and if I am proud of it after production, I might submit it to festivals!
I would love if you would consider being a part of this production. I have a fabulous and really fun/hilarious crew and the shoot shouldn't take more than 4 hours or so for the models. You'll be getting your hair and make up done and there will be a photographer taking stills on the set so you can have those for your portfolio while you're doing limited acting in the dressing room.
