I've been shooting for about ten years now. I started off with film photography, mostly shooting abandoned buildings-- and failing pretty miserably, but learning from my mistakes and getting experience working in different environments.

Fast forward to 2025. I am a full time photographer and videographer based in northern Indiana. My landscape architecture photography business puts food on the table but I still love shooting portrait work and do so as often as I can. I still shoot a decent amount of film but prefer digital for convenience of turnaround. As far as my photography style, I definitely gravitate toward a bohemian style, maybe even a bit western.
I am very much for trade work as long as the session mutually benefits our portfolios and am always up for a travel adventure if my schedule cooperates. I am comfortable shooting all types of portrait work but prefer nothing mature beyond boudoir despite the nude photo of Madonna walking down the street smoking a cigarette taken by Steven Meisel probably solely responsible for getting me interested in portrait photography. Seriously, coolest photo ever. I've shot nude work before but only after establishing rapport with the subject.
