About Me

After working for many years in a very technical field, I have reached a point in my life where I would like to pursue more artistic endeavors.  My ambitions in photography are not  towards the commercial, but rather towards the artistic.  I work with both digital and film, and both color and black and white. I would like to work with models who need help in building a portfolio.

My goals are simple:

1. To have fun with every shoot. If we're not both having fun, then something's wrong.

2. To be able to use every model I work with as a reference. I promise to treat you with respect and behave like a professional even though I'm not one.

3. To get results!  Even though I'm not a pro I am serious about getting good results and improving as a photographer.

About my sample images:

This is not my portfolio; it is just a sampling of my work to show what I can offer.  Since I grew up with film, I still enjoy the tactile feel of mechanical film cameras.  My first row of images here are 35mm film.  Second row is medium format film.  The rest is a mix of film and digital.
