I’m Derrick, a photographer based in Spokane Valley, WA. My primary work today focuses on weddings—capturing genuine emotions, timeless moments, and the little details that make each couple’s story unique. But before I specialized in weddings, I spent years working with models, both in studio and on location, building portfolios, creating creative concepts, and refining my ability to bring out personality and style in front of the lens.

That background in model photography has shaped my wedding work in a big way—it’s given me an eye for flattering poses, an understanding of light and mood, and the experience to help anyone feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

Whether it’s a styled shoot, editorial concept, portfolio update, or something completely out-of-the-box, I’m always open to collaborating with models, creatives, and fellow photographers to create images that stand out.
