I’m Mermaid Amia Koi, a melanated mermaid bringing Black mermaid magic to life through modeling, storytelling, and aquatic elegance. The water is my home, and every photoshoot or event is a chance to inspire, uplift, and create something truly enchanting.

As a lifeguard and swim safety advocate, I don’t just embody the beauty of a mermaid—I also help children feel safe and confident in the water. Whether I’m gliding through the waves, posing for underwater photography, or making a child’s mermaid dreams come true, I bring my whole heart into the experience.

My mission is to celebrate the richness of Black mermaid representation, making sure our magic is seen, felt, and embraced. I’m here to call my pod home and remind the world that melanated mermaids belong in the sea, too.
