About Me

Hi there,

I own and run a photography studio in Bromsgrove (Skylark Studio).

I'm also a well established wedding and portrait photographer based in Worcestershire, looking to diversify into a range of other photographic mediums. I shoot weddings all over the UK, and have even shot some abroad in Malaysia, Jamaica and Ireland.

I was an accredited photographer at London Fashion Weekend in 2011, and have also worked as a stills photographer on a couple of film sets.

I'm a published sports photographer, and photographed some of the events at London 2012 (Olympic Games), and Birmingham 2022 (Commonwealth Games).

I've shot with over 300 models in the last 12 years and have learnt a lot about model photography, but am keen to keep experimenting and to continue to broaden my portfolio, and hopefully my commercial appeal as a photographer.

I'm up for anything, so don't be afraid to approach me with any ideas you might have...let's get shooting!

"I had my first shoot with Skylark owner James. We did lots of ideas in a short space of time. He let me use different studio outfits on his different backgrounds sets using different furniture. He let me pose freely, as well as directed me for better angles if needed. The shoot went quickly. He focused on getting the lighting right. The photos look great.
