About Me

Thanks for visiting my port. My name's Steve and I've been a photojournalist and Mt. Washington Valley-based writer/photographer for more than 30 years.

Along the way, I've shot for everything from NASCAR to NASA, photographed more than 200 destination weddings, including underwater, and been accredited by the National Press Photographers Association*, New England Press Assoc.*, N.H. Photojournalists Assoc., Virginia Press Assoc.* and Atlantic Publications* (* -- awards). It's been a hoot!

After a sabbatical shooting underwater in the Caribbean and publishing a novel, I'm trying my hand in the studio and I'd love to collaborate with a few proactive models to build a portfolio and explore new areas of the photographer's craft ... and have some fun with it. "Fun" is always the operative word.

Mulberry Farm Photography is a casual, non-commercial studio nestled in a 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking Mt. Chocorua. My studio philosophy is strictly Old School: Respect for the model is always paramount and no photograph is ever used for any purpose without the model's shot-by-shot written permission.
