Get to know Edelart — Graphic Artist, Photographer, Professional Collector of Faces & Chaos

For 33+ years I’ve survived the beautiful circus known as the graphic arts industry in Los Angeles.
Fashion. Silkscreen. Sublimation. Digital illustration. Branding. Prepress disasters. Last-minute “can you fix this by tomorrow?” emergencies created by people who think Canva is a personality trait.

I’ve worked through all of it.

About ten years ago, I started turning my photography into drawings — not the fake inspirational “follow your dreams” kind… I mean real human faces, real expressions, real stories pulled from streets, airports, cafés, strange cities, and moments that probably should’ve stayed in my camera roll.
That body of work eventually became a published book that still lives on Amazon today. Which is honestly more than most people’s New Year’s resolutions accomplish.

These days I help people and brands stop looking visually confused.
I build identities with intention, attitude, and enough aesthetic intelligence to survive the internet for more than six minutes. But I still create drawings selectively — because not every face has a story… and some people look like expired yogurt emotionally.

I’m drawn to:

* expressive faces
* strong personalities
* cinematic energy
* people who look like they’ve survived at least one bad decision and learned something useful from it

and the list keeps growing because apparently I have commitment issues with staying in one place.
