About Me

NOTE: PLEASE be aware that for strict figure work I require models WITHOUT TAN LINES.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Do NOT tell me that you do not have tan lines and show up looking like you just spent a week at the beach or in the desert.
WE WILL NOT SHOOT! - FAIR WARNING!
For this reason alone, I usually limit my figure shooting to between November and April.

THIS ALSO APPLIES TO TATS!
IF you have "NO TATS" checked in your profile.
IF your online photos show no tats.
I have in the past assumed that you do not have tats...
I will no longer do that.
I've caught models claiming they have no tats in their profiles.
What I have found...
Their photos are 10-15 years old.
They pose strategically to hide the tats.
They drape clothing to hide the tats.
They NEVER show their backs in any photos.
They FLIP the images in Photoshop to APPEAR to show both sides of the body.
They erase them in Photoshop.
IF you want to work with me, you must disclose UP FRONT any and all tats that you have.
I will decide on an individual basis.

Silicone?
No thanks.

UPDATE:
If we are to work together...PLEASE review my albums. LOOK AT ALL MY PHOTOS! READ MY ENTIRE PROFILE! I just went through weeks of communications, with 2 different models. We set shoot dates. Then, at the 11th hour, they both informed me that they wouldn't do shots that feature prominently in my albums. One had explicitly agreed to do them - then apparently changed her mind. One apparently had suffered a sudden aversion to showering, and the other to silhouettes. Go figure.
Save us BOTH some time. Review the albums and bring this up in the early stages of our communications.

NEWEST UPDATE:
Don't try to raise your rates after we've already scheduled a shoot and agreed to a fee... it doesn't play well.

And some more:
If we schedule a shoot don't go incommunicado on me.
There are arrangements and decisions that I still need to make and I need your input - this is a collaboration.
If I send an email or a message and I don't get a response within 3 days... you will be replaced.

Oh, dear God there's more...
IF you require that a service animal be with you during a shoot, you just MIGHT want to disclose that and not wait until THE NIGHT BEFORE THE SHOOT to let it slip out.
I'm allergic to dogs and cats...
NO animals on my set.
BTW... admitting to me later that it is, in fact, a FAKE service animal is what is known as a "faux pas".

Photography has been a lifelong personal pursuit of mine. In addition, I also utilize photography heavily in my professional life. The photos in my albums are a small sample of what I've done over the years. In earlier years sites such as this didn't exist so few of us worried about model releases for non-commercial work. I will only display photos for which I have signed releases. Just about all the clothed work, and much of the older figure work that I did over the years was done without model releases - so that work is underrepresented here. Rest assured... I CAN and do photograph women wearing clothing (occasionally).

Figure work will always be a priority for me, whenever finances allow. Always looking for bone and muscle. I strive to show the strong side of women as human landscapes. I am also wishing to branch out to include portraiture, fashion and fitness genres in my work. Also really looking to do more shower shots.

My goal in my personal photography is to convey the strength and beauty of the female human form. My expectations in belonging to this site are to be able to work with models with similar interests, and to improve the quality of my work. In the past I had sold my personal work through several galleries but have decided that the potential rewards do not outweigh the considerable costs involved.

Work can be anonymous if so desired. Essentially, that is the nature of true figure photography. Anonymity also allows models to experiment with genres that they do not normally work in or may not want to become known for.

I am looking for lean, fit, spontaneous, enthusiastic and energetic co-conspirators to create art. Experience not necessary... a desire to learn goes a long way. I need subjects who will participate in the creative process. The willingness to "push" oneself, and the ability to overcome self-consciousness is desired. The ability to "be in the moment" is so important. A little crazy wouldn't hurt either. Self-awareness and exploration are the essence of life. The experience should be fun for the subject and leave them energized and wanting more. I only capture beautiful images, and I want subjects who can relate to my work.

My focus is capturing what the model presents to me, I do my best not to "pose" models, other than some basic "core" poses that I do with all models on our first shoot - and THOSE were created by the models with whom I have worked. Other than that, I take what they offer to me and find the images hidden within. The best ones bring the image to the camera. As long as the shoot doesn't go into the weeds, I can get the images that fit my vision. Models often take me to places I wouldn't normally go. I only ask that, if the model has specific ideas before the shoot that are different than what I show in my portfolio, that she shares them with me beforehand so that I can ensure that I have the proper equipment/supplies at the shoot.

My philosophy is that if the model isn't having fun, then the shoot is a failure. I hope that the images in my portfolio reflect that philosophy. It is also one of the reasons (besides being dead broke) why I'll be shooting TFCD for my non-figure work going forward - I want the model to be searching for non-monetary value in the work that we do. I need creative team members. I'll cover any expenses for the model when we shoot.

Bring your imagination along for a ride.
