About Me

Photographer devoted since 2015 to the wetplate process (from 1851). It is a completely artisanal and chemical process, resulting in portraits taken onto metal plates, prepared and developed during the same shooting.

Taking a single picture with this process can take around one hour, but the character of the resulting images pays the effort. While shooting, you can experience the whole handmade preparation, and see how the portrait appears under the developer.

Since 2020, I also use this process for my personal work (shown in my portfolio), which, by now, I’ve never made any profit with. As the process and its materials/chemicals are quite expensive, I just consider doing collabs by the moment. Hi-res digital files of the plates are always sent after the sessions.

Let me know if you’re curious about it!
