Hello! I've been working in digital photography since the early 90's when I started creating photos for my first web site build (you couldn't get many digital photos on-line then). I've been editing photos for about 15 years and in 2012, I put the two together and started my business, Smoke N Mirrors Photography. I shoot client head shots intended for web use and actor folios; I shoot plays and productions (generally during dress rehearsals) including action shots, photos for Play Bills and full body shots for actors; I shoot a variety of live events and conferences; I shoot Steam Punk, Goth, and a form of Boudoir I label "Reveal" (because it doesn't); and I shoot the standard high school photos and yes, I can even take an infant passport photo as may be needed! I shoot environmental portraits of all manner (with horses, in the forest, in water, etc.)

I typically set up a private Pinterest Board and ask my client/subject/model to post their ideas and I do the same. Together we go through the ideas and come up with our theme or feel for the photo shoot.

If you are looking for a photographer who is more concerned with the look and feel of the final photo rather than a "standardized" photographic experience and presentation, you should Dare to Avoid Mediocrity and give me a shout. I love what I do and I want you to love it, too.

P.S. - I travel in the U.S. a good bit (coast to coast and north to south, including Alaska), so if you aren't in my area, that's not a worry. Chances are good I will be in your area in the next 12 to 18 months or sooner.
