PHOTOGRAPHICA MONOCHROMATICA

I'm a full time professional photographer that has worked around the world, including North America, Asia, Europe and Africa. I strive to capture the essence of character and emotion of my subjects, that make them unique. I do that as a skilled practitioner of the art, to portray a figure with positivity and wonderment so the viewer can perceive the elements that tell a story. My works are primarily black and white and prepared to embrace the fundamentals of classic artistic photography. Originally, I started off in traditional film photography with everything from 35mm cameras to medium format and sheet film camera. Today, I augment my photography with digital pro camera and fun instant cameras like the Instax and Polariod. In addition to creating the image, my skill-set also includes photo-editing (digital/film) and printing (digital/silver-halide chemical).

My interest here is to meet, collaborate and work with the best models. I produce my works with the goal of having them presented for exhibition and publication, therefore, I will commit my resources to producing the highest quality of imagery. What will I shoot, you ask? Pretty well anything that will invoke a response in the viewer. So it can be beauty, emotive, creative and even a social statement. I often photograph the feminine physique as to me there is nothing more beautiful. There is no part of the body to be ashamed of and I contest the morals of a society that attempts to subordinate women by denying them a lack of expression. While the images you see here are on a public forum, I do consider private commissions with perspective clients. That said, I'm here to pay homage to the feminine form, not to photograph gratuitous sexuality.

I prefer to work with models in a collaborative manor where we exchange services. I'll always take into consideration the needs for accessories, clothing, food and transportation for the models that I work with. I am interested to know what you need to improve your portfolio and am happy to provide the mentoring and experience to get a step up in your career. I will work with new models just starting out as well as experienced professional model. Will I consider paying a model? Yes, with the proviso that the model has the familiarity and knowledge of today's themes and poses. I am aware of the current rates of professional working models and will base any compensation relative to that standard. I also accept compensation for imagery that a model needs solely for her own portfolio. I can be bought (somewhat).

I have my own well equipped professional studio and can arrange to shoot in it at mutually beneficial times. I also can shoot outside my studio and even underwater. I have lots of clothing and accessories that can accommodate the needs of any theme. I can host travelling models with private accommodations if they want the convenience.
