Estella's passion for fashion shows in her designs.  She uses more of  traditional, ethnic fabric and materials from Africa, Asia and other parts of the world, mixed with conventional fabrics, creating a master fashion art that is in a class of its own.  Her signature is the ability to cut textured, delicately hand-woven traditional fabrics into sexy, wearer; irrespective of class, style or season. Estella Ogbonna is an International Award-winning Nigerian-American fashion designer with unique design skills and an eye for fashion that is not common, based in the Washington DC Metro. With fresh and original presence in the American, African, Canadian, Caribbean and European fashion scenes.

The Men fashion line vary from Corporate suits, casual wears, to festive wears – all with an ethnic edge. JeanKara is her trademark Denim Collection laced with traditional touch.

Ms. Estella is also involved in community development activities and has been featured on International TV Shows that promote fashion designing all over the world. Fox5News, VOA, MNet, Studio 53, BET etc.

She also runs a local Charity Club – So So Sewing Club. Where she teaches people (men, women and teenagers) how to sew for free and in return, they are expected to create hand-made garment pieces that would be donated to sick kids in hospitals in the DC metro area.

This award winning fashion designer has showcased her collections on runways like NYC Spring Couture Fashion Week, World Bank, African Events, VOGUE Black Designers Fashion Shows, DC Fashion Week, New York Fashion Weeks, and across University Campuses in USA, and also been featured at State of the Art events in Africa, Europe and Canada.
