About Me

I "make" photographs. Physically and metaphorically, I work in shadow and the spaces between to explore and elicit emotion. I am currently meandering through a series titled Black and White Roses. Unsurprisingly, it explores temporality through the construction, deconstruction, and ultimate destruction of cliches.

I am also having fun playing with a light projector.

Collaborating with artists makes me happy. With all due respect to Horst P. Horst, I am convinced that Photography is, in fact, all about the brain and the curiosity it channels into art. As Ansel Adams once said, “The single most important component of a camera is the twelve inches behind it!"

Home is Vancouver, BC, and Sayulita, NAY. Art happens everywhere.

"I am very grateful that Skunky was able to pick me up and drive me home after the photo shoot. The photo shoot was held in a very cozy and comfortable apartment, relaxed, with refreshments and a positive atmosphere. I really enjoy working with professionals in their field, which Skunky is. The ideas were amazing and we had an amazing collaboration of our talents or skills, so the photos are fantastic.
