Born in 1971 in Kobe, Japan, to a Japanese father and a Chilean mother, I moved to Santiago, Chile, at the age of five. I developed an early interest in photography, building my first pinhole camera at 11 using a shoebox and a coffee tin sheet.

During my architecture studies, I deepened my engagement with photography and began producing work in 1998. My early focus was on nude art, architecture, and landscapes, later expanding to street, portrait, event, wedding, and fashion photography.

I have exhibited my work in solo and collective shows, incorporating both physical and multimedia installations. My exploration of analog techniques led him back to pinhole photography, designing and constructing my own cameras. At the same time, my background in digital transformation made him receptive to new technologies, integrating digital photography, mixed media, and AI-generated art into my creative process.

My main work with models has been for nude art, but I also do portraiture and other figure related images. I like to push the boundaries of what is possible, but always in a professional and respectful manner.

For me, every model is a complete universe, so I try to capture that at its best.
Beyond technique, my work is driven by a search for meaning, identity, and connection—whether capturing the essence of a space, a person, or a fleeting moment.

Nací en 1971 en Kobe, Japón, hijo de padre japonés y madre chilena. Me mudé a Santiago de Chile a los cinco años. Desde temprana edad desarrollé un interés por la fotografía, construyendo mi primera cámara estenopeica a los 11 años con una caja de zapatos y una lámina de lata de café.

Durante mis estudios de arquitectura profundicé mi vínculo con la fotografía y comencé a producir obra en 1998. En un inicio me enfoqué en el arte del desnudo, la arquitectura y el paisaje, para luego ampliar mi trabajo hacia la fotografía callejera, de retrato, eventos, bodas y moda.

He exhibido mi trabajo en exposiciones tanto individuales como colectivas, incluyendo instalaciones físicas y multimedia. Mi exploración de técnicas analógicas me llevó de vuelta a la fotografía estenopeica, diseñando y construyendo mis propias cámaras. Al mismo tiempo, mi experiencia en transformación digital me hizo receptivo a las nuevas tecnologías, integrando la fotografía digital, los medios mixtos y el arte generado con inteligencia artificial en mi proceso creativo.

Mi trabajo principal con modelos ha estado enfocado en el arte del desnudo, aunque también realizo retratos y otras imágenes relacionadas con la figura humana. Me gusta explorar los límites de lo posible, pero siempre desde un enfoque profesional y respetuoso.

Para mí, cada modelo es todo un universo, y mi objetivo es capturar lo mejor de ese mundo.

Más allá de la técnica, mi trabajo está impulsado por la búsqueda de sentido, identidad y conexión—ya sea al capturar la esencia de un espacio, una persona o un instante fugaz.
