plain and simple...I'm an artist. I work in several different mediums including yet not limited to photography, intaglio printmaking and jewelry design just to name a few.

I work in both digital and film. when working in film I shoot solely in black and white and develop my own film and prints, there is nothing like seeing the print "pop" when the image comes though. in the digital world, I do most of my work in colour rather than black and white because, lets face it, a digital b/w print cant hold a candle to a silver gelatine print of the same subject. I am also a firm believer, in regards to my own work, of not "shopping" my photos, instead I feel that the work should be done on camera or in darkroom rather than some computer program. The most I have ever done in editing is to just crop or resize the image to a printable size.

In knowing this, my photos you see here have not been edited unless to size the image. Instead these images were created by the use of lighting, timed exposure, etc.. Many times the images, or portions thereof, I capture are used visual puzzle pieces in my intaglio work and are not really used in a personal photographic portfolio context at all. However I have no problem at all with the model using the photos to expand their portfolio.

I love impromptu street photography.
