About Me

Hi.  My name is Sam and I have been shooting for 12+ years, and I found this site to focus on my portraiture and improve people shots.  In photography, I like to "get the picture" with camera settings and lighting.  I do not do any post processing, as I think it takes away from the art, but I have contacts who can do it for you, if that's your thing.  Photography is an art (seems to sometimes get lost) and so much can be done to create an image with camera settings and different lighting techniques.  I only use high quality gear, mainly Zeiss lenses.  I can pay pretty well, but also might be willing to shoot for free if I'm not interested in the shoot, if someone needs images I am not too excited about.  I am a full time firefighter, and usually always surfing and snowboarding..    Thank you.  Additionally, i try to create images that give the viewer a feeling and create a perspective that makes you feel like you're there and bring about emotion / feelings.  Let's shoot.  Open to different ideas and styles always.  I am happy to send images of myself and shooting locations etc to make sure all is good and comfortable.
