My name is Nigel Dorne Shannon and I've been a self-employed professional boat builder for most of my working life (now retired).

Art nude photography became a hobby after admiring work from some of the great art nude photographers, such as Stephen Wong, Cam Attree, Mark Rhodes and Corwin Prescott. I love the great Australian outdoors, so I specialise in "naturally nude in nature", so landscapes and sunrises are very evident in most of my photography.

I worked with my first professional model, Evelyn Sommer, on the Hawkesbury river. This experience cemented my desire to pursue photography much more seriously. My aim was to become a recognized and respected Art nude photographer. I've worked with many models since and developed an excellent reputation.

"Was great to work on location with him around his home town when I was tripping down from Byron Bay to Newcastle. The fig tree was nice to pose in & we got some great shots despite slight problem in the lighting.
