Newsflash: I’m retiring from the game. I’m turning 56 this year and damaged something in my hip late last year that refuses to heal. Daily pain isn’t fun and, ironically, pretty much everything I do during a shoot exacerbates it. I’m hoping PT and rest will get me back in the game by year’s end.

Since the last time I updated my bio I’ve gone from Professional Headshot Photographer to doing photography for the love of the game. Do I miss taking photos for money? Hell no - turns out I’m happier when I’m bleeding money than when I’m making it. Plus, I pay my subjects, so everyone wins.

Since joining MM my oeuvre has also changed from headshots to more mature themes like art nudes, fashion nudes, and the occasional erotic shoot (all boundaries respected and set way in advance). Nudity is NOT required: one of the benefits of being The World’s Best Asexual anything is an almost alarming indifference to the nude form. If nudes aren’t part of your oeuvre, then we shall never speak of it again.

One note on my style: I prefer my subjects to look like themselves and rarely do any retouching beyond blemish removal. If you want the full Vogue cover treatment, I’m not your ‘tog. And if you’re a Retoucher, please do not contact me.

I’m going to try to be a bit more active here, including posting a more informative bio and recent photos, but a hella cool day job and an equally hella cool family does limit my availability.
