Hi. I’m Kristan! I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Virginia in 2005. I lived in Charlottesville for several years and loved it. I’ve been serving the Richmond area for three years and am completely in love with RVA. It reminds me so much of home with the historic buildings, the river running through the city, the art murals, the music. I’ve been photographing professionally for seven years and am personally driven to provide a memorable and fun service. I love the connection between people and enjoy working with families, covering weddings and personal events, including birth photography - although I’ll be honest, I do it all. From products to boudoir to working with theatres and bands, my portfolio is very wide ranged and I love trying new things and putting myself out there.

**Note : I am a natural light photographer and plan all sessions around time of day and the sun whenever possible.

I’ve been very in to working with artists and music festivals; 2019 has been amazing and I’ve worked with Shadefest Music Festival, Phish, Snoop Dogg, and an awesome grass roots media publication called The Jamwich.
