About Me![]() • Eclectic ARTivist /Creatrix • Studio vocalist • Wellness Mentor • • Proprietress/Lead Consultant at DarkStardust Creative Enterprises & Ahimsa Living Wellness • Co-founder of LORAX Community & Veganarchist Kitchen • Surprise! After more than a decade away I have finally returned to ‘The Mayhem’ & reactivated my account––largely with intention to reconnect with old friends (whilst also somewhat open to making a few new connections in the UK). For those who do not yet know me, here is my life story (in a nutshell): I’m Daviana (daughter of David)––known commonly and professionally as Davi ("Lady V") Stardust––or simply V. For a number of years I was credited as Damiana K, Damiana Darkstar, “Nurse Darkstar”––specifically in relation to certain gothic, darkwave, industrial, horror & horror punk projects––but went "back to my roots" following some life-changing incidents... The vast majority of my formative years were spent in a state of perpetual awe over the vast beauty of creation, nature, animals, sounds... Musical artistry was amongst my very first loves––especially the seemingly boundless, ever-evolving, genre-defying styles of legendary artists such as David Bowie, Prince, etc. As such, I have been keenly involved in my own creative endeavours of various type for as long as I can remember––as well as ethically-led veganism for nearly the same length of time. My father (the very first David in my life) was a professional photographer, which essentially meant growing up in front of––and often behind––all manner of camera lenses (& often busy developing film/prints in the darkroom). My favourite aunt was also creatively inclined, having chosen a career as a music teacher and also directing the choir in her beloved church. As my main passion was always music, she encouraged me to develop that aspect of my creative personality to the furthest of my ability. Whilst attending university for music, I began to work as a model in a professional capacity––mainly for the sake of earning a bit of cash to pay for rent, food, car maintenance, nights out, travel abroad, etc. This largely began via corporate work (through commercial agencies), which I often found to be rather challenging to my ethics. As a result I would end up clashing with agents over my refusal to accept certain jobs, which resulted in an ever-growing sense of discomfort in working with agencies. Eventually I swore off corporate work and began to freelance with other independent creators––which led me to many fun, interesting, creative, and comfortable adventures with fellow artists in a far freer capacity than anything I had ever encountered in the corporate world. Thus, I feel incredibly blessed to have been given such opportunities to collaborate with some brilliant visionaries in their respective fields. Thanks to all of you with whom I have worked over time! 😸🙏 With all of that said, I should likely mention at this point that a rather vast number of changes have occurred in my life since my last update here––many of which may seem rather dramatic. To begin with, I am no longer based in the USA and am now living in the UK full time. This evolution began with having left NYC on business in late 2011, which led to becoming quite badly injured whilst cycling in Los Angeles. As I am profoundly opposed to the vast majority of allopathic (a.k.a. "Western") medical methodology––including surgery and all other aspects of the pharmaceutical industry in general––I opted to heal naturally using methods I had previously learned via fellow wellness practitioners over time ( and had often shared with clients who spent time recovering from injury and illness). Those methods proved incredibly effective, even considered to be "miraculous" by those who had felt some concern over my decision to shun the medical industry for anything other than occasional x-rays. However, addressing things in such a way also required a great deal of time, patience, and related life changes in order to find success. As such, I was largely confined to a wheelchair for nearly two years and had no choice but to give up the life/livelihood I had built for myself in New York as I remained "stationary" in Los Angeles with intention to heal for over a year. Eventually I managed to summon motivation and necessary means) to head back east and somewhat "accidentally" wound up in Florida––which turned out to be the most healing place of all for me. During all of this "downtime" I managed to complete a few courses and collect some certifications related to some of my other life’s work. I am now ecclesiastically ordained, and managed to build up a treasure trove of highly effective natural/holistic living food formulas for detoxification/healing/regeneration––in addition to having launched what became a relatively successful website/blog & related consultancy business. I also feel blessed to have added another certification (this time as a World Peace Diet Facilitator) to my list of accomplishments, and continue to remain fully engaged with developing living food recipes, artisan products for various small businesses (including my own), and a long-awaited, soon-to-be-released book! So that's the "long & short" of what's been happening over the past decade or so. From time to time I also engage in some photography of my own, albeit limited to culinary and non-human animal subjects. However, I may eventually opt to expand my portfolio a bit to include interesting, artistic shots with human models. And as my artistically related professional repertoire also includes a bit of wardrobe styling (see my own portfolio for a few examples of such), this may quite possibly be a skill I could potentially bring to the table in relation to any collaborative projects. Regarding modelling – Although uncertain as to whether I am ready to come out of retirement just yet, I remain relatively open to exchange thoughts/ideas with those who might like to discuss possibilities. Since having returned to the United Kingdom I have been involved in a number of volunteer/charitable exchanges, done a bit of studio recording ( some of which resulted in album features and release of a catchy single). At present I am keeping quite busy with collaborating on culinary, wellness, and hospitality endeavours with my very best friend/partner (both in business and life)––as we carefully consider "what's next" (and whereabouts) for a couple of agorist misfits quite intent to evade the onset of technocracy––and Biodigital Convergence which is expected to accompany... Quick side note for anyone (anywhere in the world) who happens to understand (and find a certain degree of resonance with) the previous statement: Please do get in touch, as I would be quite keen to make contact (& possible art) with some fellow dissenters. For everyone else who managed to read this far: Thanks ever so much for taking the time to read through all of my rambles (and typos)! 🙏💜🌱💫😘 Verified Credits (2)Worked with Davi Stardust?
