I'm an astronomer with a passion for photography, focusing on precision from my day job to my photos. I've been shooting for decades, mainly street, travel and experimental, using vintage cameras and lenses. Contrasty black and white is my go-to, but I also enjoy working with color films like AeroColor for their distinct look. Even with digital, I keep it old-school with my lenses for a less sharp, more soulful image.

I'm interested in exploring collaborative photography (non-nude), seeking projects that are thoughtful and leans into atmosphere over aesthetics. Think Moriyama flash, Araki grain, Doyle neon, but here, in the old alleys, steel shadows, and roadside glow of the Rust Belt.

Shooting in Western PA, Eastern Ohio, and Northern West Virginia.

I’m looking for people, not “models”, to collaborate with and learn from:
• Shift workers, night drifters, artists, skaters
• Anyone who feels something when the streetlights buzz
• Folks open to creating images in real places no fancy setups or forced poses

I shoot on film, often expired, or experimental. It’s not instant. It’s not perfect. It’s slow, unpredictable, and full of flaws, and that’s what I love. I embrace a wabi-sabi aesthetic: grain, blur, dust, emotion over polish.

We’ll shoot in gas stations, laundry, bus stops, and forgotten storefronts. Mostly at night. Film only. I’ll direct the camera—but your presence shapes the story.
