I’ve been telling stories through a lens profesionaly since 1978. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and that’s where everything began for me — shooting model portfolios and zep cards, learning the craft frame by frame. By the early ’80s I was working with the Miss Venezuela organization, from 1980 to 1982, helping shape the visual style of a generation.

The 1980s were my creative playground. I became the photographer major Venezuelan brands trusted for their jeans, swimwear, and lingerie campaigns. My studio in Caracas was alive — a place where fashion, energy, and ideas collided every day.

Then 1991 changed everything. My studio was robbed, and all my equipment was taken — except for the one camera I had with me while vacationing in Europe. In Venezuela, photographic gear couldn’t be insured, so rebuilding was impossible. I had to close the studio and start over. That moment forced me to reinvent myself, and I chose to move to Miami.

I began  working for a major U.S. airline and this put my photography career on pause, but it opened the new world of opportunities to me. Travel became my classroom. With the skies at my fingertips, I began capturing landscapes, cultures, and moments across continents. That journey led me into stock photography, where my travel images found a new audience and a new purpose.

In 2015, I retired from the airline industry. That chapter gave me the freedom to return to photography on my own terms. I spent the following years freelancing, refining my voice, and reconnecting with the craft that has always defined me.

In 2024, I founded Stormy Night, my traveling photography studio based in the American Southwest. Today, my work blends cinematic drama with the raw beauty of nature — weddings, portraits, and collaborative art that carry emotion, atmosphere, and truth. From the deserts of Arizona to the streets of Paris, my camera has been my constant companion, a witness to resilience, reinvention, and wonder.
