Hi, I’m Ruben! I'm a Boston-based photographer recently moved from NYC, where I started my journey into photography a decade ago. My artistic interests are mainly around capturing portrait photography. Occasionally this will happen in a studio, but when weather permits I like to make the city my backdrop. I typically shoot with my Sony A7RIV mirrorless camera, and I prefer to shoot with a longer 85 or 90mm lens to capture more intimately framed shots. In terms of my shooting style, I’m not very prescriptive, I like to go with the flow and incorporate the model’s personality into my work; I see our shoot together as a collaboration!
