Well I guess I started trying to shoot a better quality shot or something more artistic in 2017. I picked up Canon Rebel and I didn’t wanna put it down. Since then I’ve had a few cameras, and I have learned a few things about photography. It seems that every time I have a camera in my hand I learn something new. Quick sidenote I’m really big on natural light!
Now in 2023 it’s definitely more than a hobby however I still have a lot to learn. My goals for my photography are definitely all encompassing, that I might be able to do this as more than just a hobby but on a professional level, a level that can sustain me comfortably and allow me to pursue this in a full-time sorta fashion.
I do love all types of photography, I am very passionate about finding the right shot. I also love to travel and it is something that is reflected in my photography. I am very fortunate with the work that I do that I get to travel and meet new people and see new things, with that being said… I believe that photography allows people who don’t have the opportunity to go some of the places I go, share in some of that experience. I think the most important part of photography for me would be capturing a moment in time, a little piece of life if you will, the way that I perceive it and then being able to share that with others.
Like I said I’m still learning and I see so many challenges ahead of me, but my limited experience reassures me that the reward definitely outweighs the challenge.
