- retouchers: i do my own editing. I'm 100% not interested

Hello, my name is Justin. I am a portrait photographer.

I have been studying photography for the past few years and dabbling a little bit, but I want to start practicing myself a lot more. I've studied many photographers work, especially in the fashion photography industry, and have even had direct training from some such as Peter Coulson, a fashion photographer from Australia whose work I admire.

I am looking to start putting all that training to practice to develop my own work and style. I am currently looking for a model to work with on a semi regular occasion. A muse I suppose, granted I don't like that word, feels pretentious to me. I have a lot of ideas I want to do, things I want to practice and experiment with like lighting, shooting in different locations (ie in studio, out doors at parks, in city, etc), different concepts. I've also been given a good amount of training on model training by a professional fashion photographer, which I want to practice and get better at. Nude not required. There are a number of things that I want to try that are related to fashion concepts that probably would call for some partial or implied nudity but if your not comfortable with that kind of thing that's fine, its not important. Really the important thing I'm looking for is someone I can work with a good amount for a number of reasons. Biggest reason is because I want to build a bit of a rapport up with someone and work on my model training; see how far I can personally take a person. Another reason is I think as you work with the same model/photographer over time, you are able to get more comfortable with each other and get better shots.

anyway, if you think you might be interested in working with me occasionally, I'm wanting to start putting these things into practice by the start of May, earlier if possible but I'm shooting to have a model or 2 by then.
