I'm a journalist who's extending from writing into photography — and, sure, modeling. Portraiture is interesting to me, the idea of people being photographed people in natural lighting and in places and circumstances where they feel comfortable. There are moments of expression that are so profound that I find myself unable to describe them with words — whether I have a thousand words to work with or not. So that's what I'm hoping to do with a camera: be a part of capturing those moments on either end of the lens.

I like the idea of modeling, pushing past comfort zones. Narcissism makes me uncomfortable so how better to push past discomfort than by tapping into some of my own vanity. I'm athletic, I take direction well. I'm a model, you know what I mean.
