Growing up on a rural Tennessee farm,  I’ve always been attracted to nature and making things by hand.  Reading the great western authors and poets in my youth painted a vision of the west that even the movies couldn’t reprise.  I eventually moved out west to Texas and then Colorado where I focused on the arts of the Cowboy, who often makes his own gear to perform work spent from the back of a horse.  I was lucky enough to spend some time on ranches and sold my saddles and tack to those that I worked alongside.  As I get older, the nostalgia of what is left of the western lifestyle brought me to photography.  I am a lifetime western artist working primarily in leather and some silver engraving and I have recently started a path in Western Lifestyle/Rodeo/Equine photography.  I’m a learning photographer, but I’ve attended several workshops for Western lifestyle/Rodeo and also Wildlife photography.  I would like the ability to search for potential models for western lifestyle shoots when I travel West from my home state of Tennessee
