David’s photography explores many of the same themes that inform his work as a painter. Focusing primarily on the female figure, his images are shaped by an acute sensitivity to how light sculpts the body, and how gesture, color, and atmosphere come together to evoke mood.

Drawing from a background in classical figuration and contemporary abstraction, David blends fine art aesthetics with a modern visual language. His shoots are collaborative and intuitive, often unfolding organically to capture something honest and emotionally resonant.
