I am a figure drawing artist devoted to traditional graphite pencil on paper. In a world increasingly dominated by digital art and instant imagery, I crave the tactile, deliberate and slow process of working by hand. There is something profoundly human about feeling resistance of paper, the gradations of graphite, and the patience required to build something tangible from nothing. Returning to traditional drawing is my way of slowing down and of restoring a sense of intimacy and intention to the creative act. Through this process, I find joy in bringing beauty back into the world in its most honest and human form.

The female figure is central to my work. Rather than idealize or objectify, I strive to honor individuality, strength, vulnerability, and presence. I adore the stories they tell and both visually to a broad audience and individually between the artist and model through he natural process. And then the body can become not an object to be consumed, but a sovereign space of identity and expression.

Freedom is at the heart of my practice. Traditional pencil drawing allows me to explore emotion and make human decisions without restraint and celebrate the figure. In embracing this timeless medium, I strive to engage in a dialogue between past and present, or even discipline and instinct. My work is an offering of reverence and liberation and serves as a reminder that beauty, rendered with care and intention, has the power to ground us, uplift us, and reconnect us to what is human.
