My work lives in chiaroscuro — the Italian term for the play of light and dark. The shadow (scuro) hides behind the light (chiaro), inviting you to find what's concealed there, or to fill it in with your own imagination.

Maybe the most important fragment slipped into the dark. Maybe what was visible a moment ago is now lost to the light, or leaked through a gap in time to exist only in the past. Maybe all that remains is a visual aftertaste — a frozen photon of a bygone moment.

I shoot in this space deliberately: dramatic light, deep shadow, mood over literalism. If you're drawn to atmospheric, story-driven, slightly mysterious imagery rather than bright and obvious, we'll work well together.
