About Me

Hi!

Photography is my creative outlet.  My goal with each shoot is to create some great images and also to improve as a photographer, by both improving on techniques I've used before as well as trying new ideas in composition and lighting.

In the past, I've done event photography and nightlife/club photography, but don't often have time for that anymore.  I work full time (not as a photographer), and have a young son.  I still try to make time for 1-2 shoots a month.

I shoot with high end Canon gear (5D mark II and L lenses) and use both natural light and speedlights.  There are a lot of different types of shots I'd like to add to my portfolio, see my list 'My Favorites' for the kinds of looks I find interesting, but it's nowhere close to all-inclusive.
