About Me
Hi-I'm Brian.
I'm a commercial and editorial photographer based in Portland, Maine. I've got about 16 years' experience as a newspaper photojournalist, most recently with the Portland Press Herald. I'm trying to diversify my portfolio—probably like you—and one of the ways I do this is to try new things to stretch my creativity. I am looking for models of any age and type to do on-location shoots that we mutually agree upon. I love working with interesting locations. I'm looking for any persons who want to work with another creative individual to produce images that reveal character and evoke an emotional response. In short, images that say something on multiple levels. I love on-location portraiture, style, attitude, and conceptual stuff involving on-location lighting. This is strictly for my personal development and for the development of my skills and portfolio. I have a blog on my site, where some photos may be published as well. I don't have any scheduled sessions yet, but if you are interested, please contact me and we can speak and set up a time/location. I'm looking for people with personality, not with a resume. Chaparones: I encourage them. I might bring my wife (also a photographer) along. In either case, chaparones are great at holding lights and light stands, so I'll put them to work. Hey, I hope you are well! I’m a full time model in Australia planning to come to the USA around September. I’ve been working in the industry for many years throughout Australia, New Zealand & Europe in various styles, have been featured in many magazines/galleries & have also completed a certificate in make up artistry.
