About Me
Must be 18 or older to work with me!
WELCOME TO MY WORLD (as crazy as it is, itâs actually sane to me) and THANKS for viewing my work. Before I start, let me just say that I enjoy a good sense of humor and appreciate a little lightness in the workplace. I am looking for models who wish to push themselves into new directions, and to have a lot of fun while doing it. I am a photographer in the Denver area with a creative mind and excellent work ethic. My strength is encouraging the model to be an integral part of the creativity in the shoot... i.e. I WANT your input. Together we can create images that will benefit the both of us. I do this because photography is my passion. Whether it is in a studio shooting, editing and retouching images on the computer, attending training seminars and sessions or reading the latest photography magazine, I am striving to better myself each and every day. Whenever anyone asks me what is the best photo I ever took was, my answer is always the next one. I look at the role of the photographer as one of societies most important, for we are the recorders of humanity. I specialize in Glamour, Boudoir, Lingerie, Swimwear and various styles of Artistic Fine Art Nudes. I am open to just about any style, especially if it's fun. I'm not very flexible time wise as I have a full time bill paying job. If you are interested in working with a creative and energetic photographer please contact me. What am I looking for? Model Portfolio Development If you are looking to expand your portfolio, please contact me. My rates are 300.00 flat out. I put a four hour limit on my shoots! This time limit does not include travel, equipment setup and breakdown. If contracted by you, the images go from ME to YOU and my website/online portfolios (if that's ok with you) and nowhere else. You will receive a CD of HIGH and LOW resolution images based on our agreement. TFCD? Yes I shoot mostly TFCD when I have time and the idea really interests me. I fully believe that when I shoot TFCD that I am providing the subject with an excellent trade of services, so please don't ask for compensation when it's TFCD (I don't) - when you do you hurt my feelings because it sounds like my work isn't worth anything to you - I may even get a complex (I don't need any more). Then I have to think (and you know that hurts my head) of how to reply nicely because I really don't want to hurt your feelings either. Oh, I almost forgot... when I shoot TFCD, unless it's an art nude shoot, the model has either to know how to do their makeup or there needs to be a MUA at the shoot. Sorry, but I'm a real believer in the power of good makeup. Besides, the smells of all that stuff makes the shooting location smell really cool. Do I pay models?? I do not. I have no need to pay for models as I book very quickly and in most cases I can TFP/CD for images I have a need for or to experiment with new ideas. I love to shoot... plain and simple... if you like my style, then contact me. In most cases we can find a happy medium to benefit what you are looking for in a photo shoot. Having said this, I am always open to collaborating with people that are creative, enthusiastic, artistic and want to have fun. NOTE: I DO NOT like escorts, friends, or family hanging around as it is very distracting for myself and can be for the model as well. I have nothing but the utmost respect for my models and never shoot in any conditions that would make them feel uncomfortable and I expect the very same from you. Bring your makeup artist and hair stylist but, Let me say it again⦠I DO NOT like escorts. If you require an escort then please bring one that is the same sex and looks just as good or better! This way you will pay attention or I use the escort. Models should realize that they could get upstaged by their escort. Seriously People: Just because I have a camera doesn't mean I can take your photo. Not everyone is made to do what I want do. I am looking for certain types of people. You don't have to be Americas Next Top Model to work with me but really I am not doing what I do to take photos of just anyone. You have to inspire me and make me want to let you into my vision. I DO not do this as a hobby, it is my passion, my reason I stay sane. I am looking for expressive unique looking people. Facial expressions are very important to me and my work. I can't work with a "Zoolander." I am looking for open minded people who want to be a muse. So think of it as acting as well as modeling. I want the people looking at my work to feel whatever it is we are trying to portray. I am also looking for people who are open to anything I throw at them; I can't create inside a box. Must be ready for anything! I like to push the boundaries a bit. I do not have a Studio: I use whatever is around me! My home is way too small and filled all the time with children. I am open to using your place if it's cool or if you know of some cool locations all the better! I have lots of equipment that travels very well in my car. Direction: I give a lot of direction and even act out what I want you do to. I also expect you to suggest things and not just expect me to pose you like a doll, though I do that a lot anyway! How I shoot: I am not one of those photographers that takes one look and shoot 300 photos or more then change for the next look and shoot 300 and so on. I shoot about 20 to 30 photos each look. I try setting up each photo to be useable. No one needs 300 photos of one thing! If you know what you are doing and how to direct properly out of those 30 photos 10-20 will be useable. Most photographers shoot 300+ just to get 3 or 5 or even 1! WASTE OF TIME! I get bored easily, and I can't wait to get to the next idea and create! Most of the time my models and I crank out about 4 looks or more in the matter of 3 hrs! Where I will be going: Crazy - All the time (actually I've been there several times and love the place - keep going back. Perhaps I'll buy a place there soon - one with a round room so I can sit in the corner.) "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.
