Award winning artist, Painter/Filmmaker Gianni Monteleone first studied painting at sixteen years old with his grandfather, Franco Monteleone, a successful illustrator and wood-grainer. During the Great Depression, Franco supported four families with his artistic talent.
Graduating from the School of Visual Arts under the guidance of acclaimed figurative painter Steven Assael, Gianni’s work is held in private collections such as the New York Times, NBC, Time Warner, Lucas Arts and the Disney Corporation. His paintings have been featured in Art News, Bloomberg News, New York Magazine and Art Forum.
