Hello, aspiring models and fellow photography enthusiasts! Welcome to my page on Mayhem.
If you are a traveling model and reached out via DM, first, Thank you for getting in touch and for sharing your availability. I appreciate you considering me.

I want to be transparent about how I work, as it may save both of us time. Like many independent photographers, I’m not operating as an agency or production house with a dedicated budget for talent. My work is largely self-funded, and my time and resources are managed carefully, just as models manage theirs.

In practice, I primarily work with a local pool of models. This allows for flexibility, realistic rates, and—most importantly—ongoing collaboration. Models are an investment for photographers, and I tend to prioritize working repeatedly with people whose performance, reliability, boundaries, and on-set dynamics I already know. That familiarity benefits both sides and results in better work overall.

With traveling models, the fit is often more uncertain. Tight availability windows, back-to-back bookings, and the realities of travel fatigue can make it difficult to plan or execute the kind of shoots I prefer. Additionally, when working with someone for the first time, it is usually a discovery or trial shoot rather than a fully committed production..

For these reasons, unsolicited offers from traveling models at higher hourly rates generally aren’t a good match for my workflow, even when the look or talent is compelling. I prefer to work with strong local talent at competitive, realistic rates and build continuity over time.

That said, I do wish you success on your travels and appreciate you reaching out. I’m sure the right collaborations will come your way.

However if you're a high availability model, local to New York City or Long Island, without tattoo and looking to collaborate on stunning projects, you've come to the right place!
