About Me
My name is Keith and I'm a filmmaker and semi-professional photographer based in County Durham. I run my own company producing video and photographic images called Fusco Media. I started taking photographs and shooting video from a very early age and I turned my hobby into a business in late 2007 photographing weddings, portraits, child & family studio shoots etc. I started to add filmmaking into the 'picture' in 2011 and haven't looked back since.
I have a small selection of collaged images from each shoot on my Purestorm profile to reduce the amount of images that I have on here. To view more images from my past and present shoots, please visit the modelling section on my blog at http://keithfusco.co.uk/blog/?cat=47 Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in doing a shoot and we'll get it arranged. I want to try to kick off with some modelling portfolio videos too. FUTURE SHOOT SUBJECT IDEA: IPHONE INSTAGRAM CRAZE Instagram is a low quality photo sharing platform which has gone huge and I personally love it. Everyone and every thing can look good or mysterious behind the filters you apply to you images. I want to create image compilations of about 4-9 images of one person that are taken using my iPhone and run through Instagram. I think it'd be interesting to see the images and how they turn out getting up close and personal with a iPhone instead of my usual DSLR camera. Taking the picture using a iPhone means the photo session shifts from business to personal, professional to amateur and structured to spontaneous. Take away all the rules of photography, the etiquette of professionalism, the fear of society and you’re left with a raw experience guided by your senses. FUTURE SHOOT SUBJECT IDEA: '3DD' I'm thought up an idea when I was browsing the internet and 3D televisions. 3D is readily available these days and everyone seems to be using 3D in movies etc, so I thought it'd be great to try out some 3D photography. Using a series of B&W images with well thought out composition to make the most out of converting the image to 3D, I think that some fantastic images could be done using this. Obviously, you'd need to wear 3D glasses to view them in full 3D, but I think just about every household has a pair these days. FUTURE SHOOT SUBJECT IDEA: KUBRICK-IFIED Stanley Kubrick, a legend amongst men. Looking to do some 'movie theme' shoots, such as A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Eyes Wide Shut. Such fantastic cinematography in his films, so it's only right to capture some images which would reflect this. Nothing cliché like the Jack axe through the door, but something artistic and iconic images.
