Hello! My name is Emily and my alias is Etha Nox. I'm currently 18 years old and have used Photoshop for over 5 years. I'm mostly self taught so I'm always trying to learn new things when it comes to retouching. My background in Photoshop consists generally of forum signatures, which led me to managing a forum and graphics site "signaturebar.com" as first a moderator and then an admin. I recently quit my work there due to lack of time and a complicated home life. Now I have more time and find myself delving into the world of retouching and editing photos which I've always been drawn to.

I use a lot of the images for practice that are posted on the forum for my own practice, so my goals from using this site are to better my skills and communicate with photographers and models about what looks good to them and what doesn't, what style is better for what, etc...

My style used to be almost extreme faked beauty they show in magazines but through months of practice I've developed a "light-as-air" kind of retouching where the changes are subtle along the way but make a big impact at the end, without distorting the original image.

As for contacting methods for the moment I suppose they are just email or private messaging as I do not intend on going professional, but am open to any offers or opportunities if they arise.
