Hey guys! My name is Lauren and I obviously lOVE doing what I do, makeup! I currently work for Clinique, and before that worked for Ulta. For about 2 years now, I have been trying to start up my own business, but it's really tough becoming known, which is why I'm here :).

I have taken a makeup artist course and was certified, but I'm looking to go to a full on beauty school within a year. After that, I plan on opening my own salon. Right now I am in school for who knows what! I just keep switching my major and everyone keeps telling me, "Just do what you want to do." And what I want to do is makeup! I have to admit, I am a little bit scared though. I want to have a steady job with a happy family, so that's why I want to open up the salon, instead of relying on me just taking jobs here and there.

I am totally interested in partnering up with someone or tagging along just to get more experience. I'm even willing to work for just photo's instead of money, this way I can build up my portfolio and maybe even become a little bit more known:) I'm pretty flexible, and have always been told that being a makeup artist should be in my future.
