Siavash Golkar is a New York City-based visual artist known for his surrealist oil paintings. Born in Iran, Golkar immigrated to Canada in his late teens before eventually settling in New York. His work explores themes of self-worth and the perceived value of individuals in modern society, often featuring disjointed and disrupted human figures.

With a PhD in theoretical physics, Golkar's unique blend of art and science has been showcased in various exhibitions and panels, including recent exhibitions in New York, Rhode Island, and Italy. He has received several awards, with honors including First Place in Surrealism [2025, SFVACC], Best in Show at ""Likeness"" National Portrait Exhibit [Wallkill River Center, 2025], and People's Choice Award at Rhode Island Watercolor Society [RIWS, 2024].
